IRIS ART Studio Policy and Rules for a Safe and Enjoyable Experience

Dear parents,

Please read our studio rules, make sure that you are understand everything clearly and agree with the policy

(Current rules are valid 2024-2025. It is a subject to change)

Term Based Classes in Iris Art Studio:

GENERAL INFO

✔️Iris Art studio Classes occur during school terms once a week for each group. Max 10 classes per Term.

✔️Maximum 12 students per class.

✔️No Term  classes on NSW public holidays

PAYMENT

✔️Price is based on a casual class/10-week term (adjustments for public holidays or shorter terms will be made accordingly)

✔️ You can pay for a term of 10 classes in advance (the best option for a smooth learning process and to secure your place) or choose casual attendance (subject to availability in the group). Payment can be done as bank tranfer, booking via website, pay link or via personal invoice.

✔️Trial classes are available for new customers please use coupon to with 10% discount Trial classes are only for Term Based Classes.

✔️Booking for the classes will be confirmed after payment.

✔️Payment for Term based classes should be done at least one week before first class of the Term.

✔️NSW CREATIVE vouchers are accepted as a part of the payment ONLY for face-to-face classes, not online classes Please send CREATIVE voucher code via email iris.art.lessons@gmail.com, you will get a personal invoice with a discount.

✔️ 10 % discount for siblings attended TERM based classes

✔️All art materials are provided and included in price. The only one things student should bring is their own sketch book (not expensive notepad with pure white pages. One sketchbook is enough for 3-4 Terms of study. Students can bring their own materials for individual project in Creative club, Advance group (optional)

ORGANISATION, BEHAVIOUR, PROGRAM

✔️Please arrive in time for classes.

✔️Food is not allowed in the studio's working areas. Please ensure your child has had lunch or a snack before class or consumes it outside the working area. Drinking water is essential.

✔️If your child is unwell, has symptoms of flu, or any other illnesses, please refrain from attending class until fully recovered

✔️Iris Art Studio reserves the right to capture and use photographs or videos of art class participants  or  art works for promotional purposes. Prior consent from parents or guardians will be obtained through the enrolment form.

✔️In case of a medical emergency requiring ambulance services for a child, the participant or their guardian/parent will bear the associated costs.

✔️We recommend wearing comfortable and not expensive clothing along with closed-toe shoes for all classes. Dress for a mess!

✔️After the class session ends, it is the responsibility of the parent to promptly pick up their child and ensure their safety. Please arrange to pick up your child within 5 minutes after the class has ended.

✔️No running in the studio

✔️ No throwing of any objects

✔️Any verbal abuse or disrespectful behavior towards teachers or participants will not be tolerated. This may result in the child being dismissed from the class, with no refund provided in such cases.

✔️The program for the current term is subject to minor changes and adjustments based on group dynamics.

✔️The examples of the artworks shown in the each Term program are works completed by the teacher or previous students. They are guides only. Your child's results may vary depending on individual skills, abilities, and emotional state at the time of the class.

CATCH UP CLASSES

✔️Catch-up classes are allowed during the current term.

✔️You can book your child for a class with another group if vacancies are available. It is a parent's responsibility to book a missed class.

✔️Missed classes cannot be transferred to the next term or holiday workshops.

✔️No refunds are given for missed classes.

If you are extremely busy and unable to attend a makeup class with another group or there no places to book a catch up class, we offer you the following alternatives:

✔️ A spot in an online group (subject to availability).

✔️A recorded video art class from the Iris Art video classes library.

Please note that the content of the missed studio class may differ from the online group class or recorded video.

✔️ Sculpture classes are not available online or as a video class. If you miss a sculpture class and choose an online option as a catch-up, it will be a drawing or painting class instead.

✔️If you choose to attend an online group or receive a recorded video as a substitute for your missed class, no refund or price adjustment will be provided, even though the costs of online and studio classes are different.

✔️The artwork examples provided in the studio are the intellectual property of Iris Art Studio. They are for students' personal learning only and cannot be copied, sold, published, or used for commercial purposes.

Money back guarantee policy

✔️The first trial class is available with casual class payment with 10% discount) for NEW students. After you are satisfied with the first class, you are required to pay for the remaining classes in the current Term, it you decided to book your child.

Please note: This refund policy applies only to trial classes. If you commit to a term-based program, refunds are not available for a change of mind.

✔️No money refunds are provided after current Term payment has been made. However, if you change your mind, you can offer your place to any of your friends, or get any "catch-up classes options

✔️Full refund or credit will be provided for all sessions canceled by the teacher.

✔️Please note there is NO REFUND for the amount paid by NSW voucher.

✔️NSW Vouchers are accept as a part of the payment for STUDIO classes or in-person workshops only. Vouchers are not accepted for Online clasess.
