🎨 Beginners Art Group (Ages 5–8) This group is designed to gently introduce young children to the world of art. In a calm, encouraging environment, students learn the core foundations of visual art while building confidence and enjoying the creative process. Children will learn to: • Use art materials safely and confidently • Create images using simple shapes • Build balanced compositions • Understand basic colour theory The focus is on fun, creativity, and skill-building — with beautiful artworks to take home each term. 🎨 Term 1, 2026 at Iris Art Studio — Theme: “The Art Code: 3D Vision” 📅 27 January – 31 March 2026 Give your child the "secret code" to drawing anything! This term, students will focus on one of the most important skills for artists: 3D Vision. We'll learn how to see simple forms in complicated things – your child will discover "hidden" shapes like spheres, cones, and cylinders in animals, people, and landscapes. They'll be able to draw everything with ease and confidence! As Paul Cézanne said, “Treat nature by means of the cylinder, the sphere, and the cone.” Through fun projects in drawing, painting, mixed media, and sculpture, they'll create artworks of flowers, landscapes, animals, and people.
