Intermediate Art Group (Ages 8–13) 🎨 Take Creativity to the Next Level! Welcome to the Intermediate Art Group, designed for young artists ages 8–13 who are ready to expand their skills and confidence in drawing and painting! In this group, your child will explore exciting new techniques and develop a deeper understanding of artistic principles. What They’ll Learn: ✨ Explore tones and shading to create depth and mood ✨ Learn 3D drawing techniques to bring ideas to life ✨ Understand perspective to add realism to artwork ✨ Master proportions for accurate and balanced drawings This group is perfect for budding artists eager to refine their skills in a fun, inspiring, and supportive environment. 🎨 What’s On in Term 4- 2025? 16/10-18/12 🐾 Theme: Cats & Dogs (10 Weeks) This term, young artists will explore the world of our most beloved companions – cats and dogs. By using subjects they love, students stay engaged while learning important and sometimes challenging parts of visual art. Over 10 weeks, the program includes: Realistic Drawing & Painting – understanding proportions, shapes, and details. Techniques in Acrylic, Watercolour, MixMedia and Pencil Drawing – step-by-step skill building. Sculpture & Craft Sessions – fun, hands-on projects especially for younger participants. Individual Projects – tailored opportunities for advanced students to develop their own ideas. By the end of Term 4, every student will complete 7–10 finished artworks, showcasing their skills and creativity. The program will conclude with a special Christmas project, adding a festive touch to the collection.
