🎨 Intermediate Art Group (Ages 8–13) This group is designed for young artists aged 8–13 who are ready to deepen their drawing and painting skills. It’s ideal for students who already enjoy art and want to develop stronger technique, confidence, and artistic understanding. In this group, children build solid foundations while learning more advanced visual art principles in a supportive and inspiring environment. Students will develop: • Shading and tonal skills to create depth and mood • 3D drawing techniques to bring forms to life • An understanding of perspective • Accurate proportions for balanced compositions • The ability to see and build forms through shapes 🎨 Term 1, 2026 at Iris Art Studio — Theme: “The Art Code: 3D Vision” 29/01 -4/04 Give your child the "secret code" to drawing anything! This term, students will focus on one of the most important skills for artists: 3D Vision. We'll learn how to see simple forms in complicated things – your child will discover "hidden" forms like spheres, cones, and cylinders in animals, people, and landscapes. They'll be able to draw everything with ease and confidence! As Paul Cézanne said, “Treat nature by means of the cylinder, the sphere, and the cone.” Through fun projects in drawing, painting, mixed media, and sculpture, they'll create artworks of flowers, landscapes, animals, and people.
