Service Description
Welcome to Iris Art holiday workshops! This educational art session will introduce your child to the still life genre. Our inspiration will come from the old masters of Holland, who created highly realistic and beautifully detailed still life paintings. Students will create their own imaginative still life while learning strong academic foundations. During the class, children will: • Learn how to construct forms correctly • Build a balanced and harmonious composition • Understand how light and shadow create volume • Practise painting realistic surfaces — such as a shiny metal pot and transparent, juicy grapes • Develop observation skills and attention to detail • Gain confidence working in a more professional way The main focus is learning how to paint realistically and show light and shadow with confidence and control. By the end of the class, you will be amazed by your child’s artwork, and their pride in their achievement will be truly visible. We will paint with acrylic on A3 tinted paper. 🎨
