For kids 7+ 📅 Date: Thursday, 09/04/26 ⏰ Time: 10 AM – 12:00 PM 💰 Price: $45 per student 📖 Become a Visual Storyteller: The GROW Gardening Comic Workshop! Step into the role of a real illustrator and discover the exciting world of comic creation! This dynamic workshop goes beyond drawing — it focuses on the powerful art of visual storytelling. Young artists will learn how to create a story using pictures, imagination, and expressive characters. In this special GROW workshop, your child will create a playful comic about gardening — perhaps a tiny seed with big dreams, a curious gardener, or a magical plant that grows overnight. Full of colour, humour, and creativity, each comic will be completely unique. 🌱 What your child will learn: • Basic illustration and drawing techniques • How to tell a story across comic panels (sequential art) • Character design and expressive emotions • Drawing plants, flowers, vegetables, and garden scenes • Creating backgrounds and setting the scene Visual Art + Narrative: This session is a deep dive into building a visual story, combining technical drawing skills with imagination, layout, and simple storytelling structure. ✨ Optional Presentation: At the end of the workshop, children who would like to share their finished comic with the group are warmly invited to present their work.
